Purpose: This spell is aimed at fostering peace and reconciliation in conflicts.
Ingredients/Items needed:
- A scarf long enough to encircle the tree
Casting Instructions:
- Holding the scarf in the hand dominant for writing, approach the tree and pass through the cleft in the trunk nine times counterclockwise (widdershins). While doing so, chant:
"Where there is pain, let friendship now reign. And harm none, so be it."
- If passing through the tree isn't feasible, simply walk around it nine times counterclockwise, repeating the same chant.
- Repeat the process once more, but this time move around the tree nine times clockwise (deosil), while chanting:
"May bitterness end, and ill feelings mend. And harm none, so be it."
- Once completed, loop the scarf around the tree and tie three knots to bind the ends together. As you tie each knot, recite:
"Knot one, sorrow end. Knot two, be us friend. Knot three, heal the pain. Let love flow again. And harm none, so be it."
- Express gratitude to the tree for its assistance and benevolence.
- Return home and reflect on whether there's any reason to avoid extending an olive branch to the person with whom you've had a disagreement. Even if you believe there is, consider disregarding it and making a gesture of reconciliation regardless.
With the completion of this spell, may peace and harmony be restored, and may love and understanding prevail. And harm none, so mote it be.
